OHHH!!! I was thinking about this the other day. I wondered if you mixed some bicar with few drops of essential oil and water in one of those plant mister spray bottle things????
Am looking forward to finding out.0 -
that could work.
Bicarb and essential oils would surely make a healthier cheaper version of shake n vac too. wouldn't it?x0 -
i made one with an old fabreese squirty bottle, just used water and a few drops of essential oils. it smells lovely and great on your sheets and washing too.Make £10 a day challenge March 2013 £101.24 / £240 :j

I have some old perfume from my 'previous' working life! Nice stuff - Estee Lauder etc. It will take me years to use it all now i go out very rarely and its all open. Any good ideas ideas for ways to use it up? Being perfume neat it may not be wise to spray it around in case it discolours furnishings etc?0

Does anyone have a recipe please for a homemade lavender pillow/room spray?
I'm using a Radox Goodnight Pillow spay with lavender & chamomile which smells lovely but is difficult to source & rather expensive.
Lavender is in flower at the moment, so it seems a good idea to try to make some.
Thanks,
Pj0 -
Not a recipe but I bought one from Avon which lasted ages. It might be worth a look on their website to see it they still do it.0

Thank you rockie4, I've just ordered 3xNaturals Lavender and Chamomile room and Linen Spray. I've paid a grand total of £4.50 for 3 room sprays.
I found a free delivery and 10% off coupon PLUS they were on a special offer instead of £3.50 each buy 3 for £5.00.
Hope it smells good, fingers crossed.:j

remember seeing a spray where you add essential oil to vodka and shake and leave. probably doesnt work out cheap though!! I must admit to using an old febreeze bottle with very diluted fabric conditioner in and spraying carpets with that. dunno if I should or not but make s me feel better0
