From the blurb so looks like flights are included!

This month, one lucky Waitrose Kitchen reader and a companion will win a trip to the beautiful new Thai resort, The Shore at Katathani. The pair will fly out from London with EVA Air to enjoy a week’s stay in one of The Shore’s 36 villas, located in the secluded sanctuary of Kata Noi Beach, Phuket. They will wake each morning in a luxurious villa with its own private infinity pool, a sunken lounge, bath with rain shower and fabulous view of the ocean. Breakfast every day is included.
To help the couple relax and unwind even further, they will enjoy a Serenity at The Shore spa treatment, featuring herbal steam, massage, indulgent body scrub, and fragrant body pack. The prize also includes a dinner at the resort's exclusive restaurant, The Harbor, which offers excellent international cuisine in stunning surroundings.
The Lighthouse bar provides the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail close to the ocean– a sea breeze with a sea breeze, perhaps – and the well stocked cellar, The Cove, has a rich collection of wines. The winner and guest can take part in The Shore’s many activities. Alternatively, they might prefer to laze in the sun lounge and enjoy the infinity pool. And the beach itself – 850 glorious metres of white sand – is the stuff of paradise.
Flights are courtesy of EVA Air, which offers daily flights from Heathrow to Bangkok. All budgets are catered for, with three classes of cabin service; personal audiovisual entertainment systems are standard. To book, visit evaair.com. For further hotel details, visit theshore.katathani.com. To book a holiday with Kuoni, which offers tailor-made holidays to hand-picked destinations worldwide, call 01306 747008 or visit kuoni.co.uk

  • I think the terms are wrong - "a maximum of 2 nights...".

I've contacted them to ask just in case but otherwise it doesn't make any sense as it's a 7 night holiday.
Thank you to everyone that posts competitions and freebie information :)

Freebies : Seeds of change Chocolate, Bag
Competitions : None yet but am hopeful ;)

Well it says "7 night beach holiday" so you might have to sleep the remaining nights on the beach! LoL

..No, seriously, thanks for the effort to contact them.
  • Sorry to bump, but, having just read the Ts&Cs, I think the 'accommodation only' bit refers to the fact that the prize doesn't include food. I agree that it's light on detail where flights are concerned, but the competition does appear to be part-sponsored by EVA Air, and the text details that EVA flies from Heathrow to Bangkok.

So, I reckon flights are included, but food isn't!
