The best advice I can give is dont go expecting too much, then if you do have a nice win you will be thrilled.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

The best advice I can give is to set up a comp specific email address, so your personal one doesn't get cluttered with newsletters etc.
Setting up an auto fill is a good idea as it speeds things up, most people tend to use roboform.
When you're filling in your details, even if you use an auto fill it's worth a few seconds to glance that it's filled in correctly. Some forms go a bit wonky with autofills and it can miss of email addresses or type your address all @rse about t1t.
It took me about 6 weeks to get my first win, since then it's been up and down, good months and bad months, little prizes and big ones. I keep a notebook and note down my wins monthly so I can see how i've done, I find it very reassuring when i'm having a dry spell.
Also, it's worth reading the comments people make in threads in the comp section, especially if you're new to it, you can pick up all sorts of tips such as sites to avoid or how to get round funny glitches etc.
Good luck!0
