Hi everyone
I'm looking for a good but cheap 19" LCD TV/DVD combo with freeview for my bedroom. There seems to be quite a lot of choice out there but don't really know what I'm getting for my money.
I came across a site called electrical-deals and they had unbranded tv's on there really cheap but don't know whether its worth taking the risk. Any comments on this site would be useful also.
Thanks in advance and appreciate any help.

Hi Tracey
We just bought this lcd/dvd last week its a 22" thought for the value of it worth spending a bit extra. Technika 22" HD Ready LCD TV with built-in Freeview, DVD Player & USB Record 22-220
http //direct.tesco.com/q/R.206-6760.aspx
now is £190 but I'm very happy with it. It has slightly poorer audio when on the quieter settings but as its in bedroom its grand and good picture.
Here's a review of it on AV Forums.
www avforums.com/forums/lcd-led-lcd-tvs/1114603-technika-22-lcd-dvd-usb-technika-22-220-initial-impressions.html
our other option was also 22" £150 also with reasonable reviews but it wasn't it stock and we were bad moneysavers so just went for the other option. Haven't used the usb yet.
There are 19" versions at £130. http //direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-7978.aspx
Good Luck

ps links above are incomplete as I can't post yet but you'll be able to join the dots.0 -
It is worth spending extra for a branded tv for the sound quality at least & probably for a much better picture quality. Check out www.richersounds.co.uk for clearance deals they may have & also www.halfcost.co.uk who often have some good deals on refurbished branded tv's with full 12month guarantee. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
