Carbon Monoxide Detector/Alarm Cheapish ??

From this Sunday Aldi have an automatic CO detector for £19.99.

    I thought Woolworths had them on special for that price too.
  • That's good price. They're even cheaper at Costco though, same model.
  • How much are they as COSTCO ? as I could pop up to Derby and get one

    There was a post on here a few months ago where you can send an e-mail and get a free one because i did it and mine looks just like that
    sorry cant find the post now but it was a few months back they may still be available or someone else could tell you more

    I had the firebrigade come fit 2 free smoke alarms earlier, they didn't say anything about CO detectors.

    Mine is by the same company but was being replaced by a newer model and I got ucky found an old box at B&Q and got a CO and smoke alarm for £14.99

    It is very loud when it beeps and easy to put up. And cheaper in the long run then the little cards. Even if you replace it every 5 years at £19.99 as the cards are about £4 each and only lasts for 3 months at a time.

    They said that most homes now have smoke detectors so are now campaigning on CO detectors.

    This is in York. I have had one fitted and so has my mum in the last 2 months.
