I had the firebrigade come fit 2 free smoke alarms earlier, they didn't say anything about CO detectors.martint123 wrote:I thought that was smoke detectors, not CO ones??

Mine is by the same company but was being replaced by a newer model and I got ucky found an old box at B&Q and got a CO and smoke alarm for £14.99
It is very loud when it beeps and easy to put up. And cheaper in the long run then the little cards. Even if you replace it every 5 years at £19.99 as the cards are about £4 each and only lasts for 3 months at a time.

They said that most homes now have smoke detectors so are now campaigning on CO detectors.
