As long as its easy to cancel then I suppose it would be quite a good deal. I don't want to sign up then find out that i can't cancel or that they've charged me for a year or they don't have the tool kits left(because it says in their tandc's that they can substitute it with another gift) Just looking out for myself and others btw bluffer, sometimes its good to be suspicious of offers like these.

    hey there ;)
I have done 5 of these before
After they have taken the inital £1 payment i email their helpline and instantly cancelled until end of 3/6 issues
They have only ever charged me £1 and i can cancel at the bank after they have confirmed it

I have done this a few times & there is no problem cancelling.
I usually phone up & they ask why I am cancelling. I just say I cannot afford it.

The only thing to remember is to cancel BEFORE you receive your 3rd edition. I used to wait until I had my first edition and then email them (with the details on the packaging) requesting my subscription be cancel and then cancel the DDR. usually have an email back within 24/48 hours confirming cancellation. This is also the case with the Computeractive and WebUser 6 for 6p trials that are often around.
