Help please

Hi

My mother in law has had a good few debts which has not caught up with her yet it has nearly been 4 years now one of them she believes may be a ccj i wondered did the 6 year till the debts called off count for the ccj too or just normal debts and for normal debts is there a certain amount that it will clear up to or does it clear no matter what amount the debt was

    You mean about statute barring. Statute barring is that thing where debts over 6 years old (in England and Wales) don't really count in quite the same way. Debts with a CCJ don't go statute barred. Hope that helps.
    I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
    (Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)


    As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(
