eBay/Paypal - Posting High Value Item to Czech Republic

Hi there
Just looking for some collective wisdom. Have received an offer on a watch I am selling £550 (she's offered £600 including postage) from a lady (56 feedback, all OK) in the Czech Republic. Royal Mail signed for with £500 insurance is about £70, so the figures stack up to accept her offer.
Anybody had any bad experiences of shipping, or pitfalls I should be watching out for?
thanks

watchout for sending abroad. there is a typical scam where you get a great offer to tempt you to send it then when you send it you either have them claiming you didnt send it and they want their money. or they just don't pay up.
People can fake reviews in ebay with getting multiple accounts and so on. Someone in the UK last yr got jailed because he was bidding on his own stuff to boost the price, but got caught when he tried to sell a van online he didn't ownSurvey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740 -
Well it's paypal, so she'll have to pony up the money first, plus tracked and signed for delivery, so hopefully won't be able to claim non receipt.
Don't the fake reviewers get caught out by eBay tracking IP addresses?0 -

There is no guaranteed tracked service via RM outside the UK, so you stand a very good chance of having a chargeback that you cannot defend.
I assume you are looking at International signed for which RM say:
Are all International Signed For™ items electronically tracked when they are delivered?
We track all International Signed For™ items until they leave the UK and then the item is handed over to the destination country's postal service as a priority item. However, we can’t track your International Signed For™ item all the way to delivery in every instance.
You'll need to find a courier that guarantees online tracking and sufficient insurance.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I send to Czech a lot (for friends) and never bother with Signed for because it is lot of rubbish. I was shocked when they didn't have to sign at all - they have to pick it up at post office when it is large package, but watch they will just put into a letter box.
So I don't bother with Signed for and I never got anything lost, but then I only sent items to my friends who wouldn't try a fast one on me:-))
I would first check with Paypal what are the rules for sending abroad, if you pay for Signed for then whenther it is Post Offices problem to sort out with Paypal or whether it lies with you.0 -
If you go ahead with the offer make sure it is via Ebay still and don't agree to accept the offer and end the bid early. You'll lose any protection that way.16 x Sanyo HIT 240w panels, 3.84kWp, south facing, 30 degree slope in the SW, 4.4 Eltek HE-t inverter installed 27/03/120
