Hi,
I've recently moved into a new house, and over the past three weeks I've spotted three of those horrible silverfish critters - one in the bathroom, one on the kitchen floor and one in a kitchen cupboard.
I've had a look online, and various sources tell me they are attracted to damp areas. No damp was picked up by the surveyor when I bought the house and having done a quick scan around the likely areas, I can't see any obvious signs of damp myself. I also keep the house clean and don't leave any crumbs on the floor/worktops.
So, I'm just wondering firstly if there is any other reason these critters my be lurking, and secondly if anybody has any OS tips for getting rid of them? I'm keen to banish them cheaply and with as few chemicals as possible please.
Thanks in advance

Oooh, books eh? Well that would be an original way of getting out of submitting my Open University work on time... "Sorry, the silverfish ate it!" :rotfl::rotfl:A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Started 15/03/2011.
