having just received my experian report i am a little confused.
i was declared bankrupt in oct 01 with 3 or 4 large debts on loans and credit cards, since then i have managed my finances well but with nothing on credit apart from telewest which updates experian.
now i fully expected to see defaults from these on my report but nothing?
thanks

Perhaps they just haven't bothered to register any defaults. I wouldn't do anything.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I think (but not 100% sure) that there are two credit reference agencies and its beneficial to get both reports as some things may be on one but not the other I think its Experian and Equifax which are the two main ones...VIRGIN CC [STRIKE] £648.87[/STRIKE]PAID OFF 08-09-09 :j

I've received my credit reports from both equifax and experian. I had a CCJ in feb 2002 and a couple of small defaults in 2001. All paid and everything up to date now.
Equifax report shows everything on it, CCJ and Defaults, Experian doesn't show CCJ or defaults, in fact its a great report. I'm not sure why this is but i'm not going to argue. All should be wiped off equifax by 2008!!0
