With all the shops doing stationary dead cheap it would be easier and quicker just to spend a bit of money in the shops. Tesco have everything 3 for 2 and have 20 pens for 50p! Its scary the lengths some people are willing to go to get something for free. Just spend a bit of money.0

You could try emailing or writing to your favourite stationery companies and explaining what you've explained to us here. People on the Freebie Successes by Letters / Email thread have tried this kind of thing, so it's worth having a read of it:

It's a long thread so perhaps start at the end and read about the most recent successes. Good luck for your college course.

if you are going to college, go to the freshers events (not pub ones, the other career based ones!) actually at the college or go to a local uni's fresher day or event and they give away loads of free promotional stuff. e.g branded pens. notebooks, and all manner of other stuff.
If its got their brand on it and you are going to use it in public, its a win for both you and them. Get gathering!!It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

Deaaaaaaaaaam right. There is too much foolishness on this site of late. People coming on asking for help and getting patronised and belittled! To that I say GET A LIFE. In addition to that, I would like to say if you do not agree or have some kind of respose then BITE ME!With love, POSR

For what it's worth, for free pens go into any Barclays Bank and pick some up out of the box or most bookies have them as well!
Although I do agree with Sarah, the board gets very untidy with repeated threads and also threads being posted on incorrect boards, but the board guides have the final say so if they do not agree it is on the wrong board they will not move it, hth's!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138
