OK you were all right!

It was absolutely fine and no one was horrible to us :). We were there by 9am, went through our forms with a lovely lady (I explained my mistakes and she was fine). She took our money and went to see the judge while we had a cuppa. By 10.15am we were out of there, officially bankrupt :j and ready to start our lives afresh!

Thank you so much for all of your support and help, without this site I would have ended up paying someone to do this :o because it seemed immense.

I also want to say what a wonderful husband I have who I have essentially gotten into this mess and although he has told me that I am never ever allowed even a whiff at credit again (fine my me!) he hasn't shouted at me half as much as he should have. All this and he has been made bankrupt on his birthday!

Onwards and upwards as they say. Just got to wait for the OR to call, then have the appointment, then sort out keeping the house (pleeeeeeease :)) and on to discharge....

Thanks everyone,
Jedi x

Thank you, we will definitely be having a drink tonight although I have pulled the short straw and have to get up with the kids in the morning! The OR hasn't called this afternoon, I assume they are busy - is this normal or should i phone them in the morning? It is a great feeling not dreading the phone and actually answering the calls! I spoke to a man from Capquest today, gave him by BR number and voila! all sorted.
