Tea towels that work and last?

Anyone know where I can buy some good quality tea towels?
All the ones I have that I love are thread bare and tatty now!
Cheap ones I've bought recently are just rubbish so I'd rather pay more and get some good ones!
Any suggestions welcomed,
thanks, Narla x

I always put a couple in my basket when I go to Ikea, they seem to last0

I second the ikea ones.....17p and wash and dry really well and haven't had to thrown one out yet. Good for drying up. Primark ones have lasted well for me but only good for drying hands on find.0

These cost £3 each but are well worth the money in the long in

also recommend the Ikea ones .. have a dozen or so on the go .. washing machine & tumble drier every week for over a year now ... no sign of wear at all.
Like so many things these days .. don't have to pay a fortune for a perfectly functional decent product.

Oh. I just looked and they've gone up to 19p!!!! They do wash up good though with my free Ariel Stain Remover!0

If you don't have an Ikea nearby, then my ones from Primark are doing well. Not sure how much they are though - it's too long since I last bought them! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Lol- I was going to suggest Ikea too!
If your feeling loaded though, Habitat usually have some nice designs and mine have lasted 8 years now, still look fairly new. (Actually look better then my Ikea ones but then they did look better to begin with!) Ikea rule on price though.0 -
I would purchase these: http://www.dennys.co.uk/ProductGroupItem.asp?PrGrp=1070 and indeed have done, they come in packs of 10 for £11.75 when I purchased you could purchase 30 for the price of 20 which obviously I did. They're made of 100% Cotton, I gave a pack to my Mother she's boiled them used them for the floor and mopping up cooking spills and of course dried the pots with them and she reports 'they're extremely durable' and obviously good value too.

I got some reduced in Costco a while back and wished i'd bought more.(They still sell them only in different colours and full price again)
They are advertised as lint free and they are brilliant for drying glasses etc as no little fluffy bits left behind!0 -

Useful to know. I can't bear TTs that leave lint or don't in fact dry anything, just move the moisture around and make th dish slippery!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
