Cornish Savers (I know Cornwall isn't England but there's no Cornish option!)
Hope some Cornish people can help please! My son is starting at Falmouth Uni next month and I wonder if we can get a heads up on cheap shops or at least cheapish places to shop. I would say he's used to Sainsburys but he's an 18 year old boy who doesn't care what he eats really so he's not brand loyal.
Any ideas please?

There's an Asda just outside Falmouth which is quite big. You can usually pick up cheap homeware stuff.
Trago Mills in the centre of Falmouth near the Maritime Museum is where all the locals go for the best deals on pretty much anything you can think of - http://www.trago.co.uk/center/falmouth.html
And yes, you can understand why the Cornish want to be a separate nation when you visit - particularly the Penwith/Kerrier areas.0 -
I was in Falmouth at the beginning of the month and told a taxi driver he was English.
He was as upset as I would have been if it had been said to me.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
I would say Trago Mills is your best bet. Do you mean for clothes/stationary/school bag type of stuff?
I go to the Trago near Liskeard and its great.0
