Saw Dragon's Den earlier. He pulled the straap off but he's a bloke and thinks a 3yo would be able to do the same.He was giving it a right old tug before it came off

  • lol when he did that i thought it a bit harsh i think its a good product mad to think a three year old could do that even one thats still going through the naughty two's! lol

I'd be more concerned about which direction the 3yo moved when you set off - backwards maybe?
  • I'm really chuffed to see these comments - Rob Law, the designer of Trunki, who was on Dragon's Den last night, is my cousin. I thought the whole strap coming off thing was a bit unfair too - but I am a bit biased I guess! Nice to see some other people had the same impression. Our family's all very impressed with Rob & Trunki and I'm glad you think it is a good product!!
  • :) trunki!! :) great product great name

Not seen these before - great idea. My kids would love these - although my eldest would proabably need to modify with an engine!
One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.

I really wish these had been around when my son was younger, we do a lot of travelling as my family live all over the UK and I think they are a fab idea would have saved me a lot of pain in my back from carrying him from platform to platform when we had to change trains. It would also have been ideal for him to have somewhere to sit when the trains were were on were so packed there were no seats left, it really is a great idea!

My dd and I both watched the dragons den and said exactly the same thing about the bloke who pulled the strap off, you can damage just about anything if you pull it hard enough!
  • i never win anything i wanna win a trunki :) fingers toes and everything else is crossed!

I missed the original programme, but watched a rerun late last night. I thought the Dragons were overall unduly unfair to Rob. I hope the product does excellently well & proves them all wrong. G
  • i think he already has proved them wrong! they told him mothercare wouldnt even buy them and they have them in their stores now! lol go eat dirt dragons lmao!
