How long does it take for Pinecone to get back to you ?

I applied to Pinecone over a week ago and not a word.

I have tried to sign up twice before without success so have just tried again.

If I still don't get accepted, I shall take it personally...

I find PC only send surveys out about once a fortnight but the £3 luncheon vouchers are useful.

I don't quite know how to put this without sounding mean spirited - but I'll try!

All this asking for links, recommendations, invites etc is a little bit like your neighbours asking you which companies you do MS work for and expecting you to hand them a list of all your best contacts! Not many of us would be happy to give out such details - its obvious we'd soon find ourselves getting less and less work if we did.

Pinecone only do a certain number or projects each month and they themselves will invite people to join them from time to time. Or they will ask members of their panel to recommend their PERSONAL friends/relatives ie people they know well . They have said many times that they do not want any details posted on forums like this one or any 'bulk' applications - they appear to prefer a smaller panel of regular shoppers and, by making it more difficult for people to find join up 'banners', they are limiting their intake to those people who are really prepared to put a lot of effort and perseverence into finding a link to sign up.

We are not doing ourselves any favours at all in handing details out to everyone who asks on this forum for an invite. It makes it all too easy. I know its frustrating but personally I feel that anyone who wants to join up should work on finding a link themselves, not keep posting 'me too' on here.

I did go and find a link for myself, its going on two weeks now from when I found it and applied.

I really want to join Pinecone but they have not bothered to even send me an acknowledgment email.

I know you did - my comments really weren't aimed at you! Even if you find a link its likely you will wait a fair long while for acceptance - they seem to keep quite a small panel. Thats part of the reason why I made my previous comments about not keeping on asking other people for invites.

Hopefully they will respond to your registration.
