I've just had an email from Strongbow to tell me that I've won a month's free subscription to Napster plus 5 free tracks.
My OH is a dedicated iTunes user and doesn't really want to install Napster on our pc, so if anyone wants this, PM me and I will give them the details and forward them the winning email.

Yeah, I got it too... same here. I don't want to use it. So if somebody wants it, let me know and I'll be happy to pass along.:rotfl: Abelardina :eek:0

I've just got that too! With the same code.
I was just about to download it, then read the t&c.
You have to put in your card details, and if you don't cancel before the months up, you start getting charged!
I'm an I-pod person, so I'm not going to bother with this one.0 -
I won it, but probably will use it. It states you have to continue paying the sub in order to access the songs - I trust you just get round that by putting them onto a disk?We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0
-
don't really know anything about Napster, I assume you'd be able to put songs onto disc, but don't know for def0

I 'won' this also. AnnieH, the 'free' bit is that you can log onto their site, find the songs you want and play them either through your own playlist or radio station. If you want to copy them either to your PC or mp3 player, you have to pay for them!0

You can turn your MP3's into itunes compatible you know...
I used to use napster to download MP3s, then transfer them to my itunes library and pop them on my ipod. Sweet
