That's a bit mean-spirited. The OP put this up in good faith and they certainly didn't say that it receives Freeview HD.

Good post OP. The post regarding not having Freeview HD doesn't matter if you've got SKY HD, like me.

if you buy from Currys use the promo code SALES5 for an extra 5% off. It's £399. so 5% is another £19.95 off, which makes it £379.05. Not quite as cheap as Amazon, but like another poster said, if you want to be able to take it back then it's worth getting from Currys.

Just because Freeview HD matters to you does not mean that it matters to other people. If you had said this offer was no good TO YOU that would have been fair enough, but the way you have worded it is misleading IMNVHO.

I received my TV from Amazon yesterday before the price shot upand it was set-up and tuned in within 20 minutes. Picture is fantastic and we are really pleased with this TV.

I got the free super saver delivery, ordered on Thursday and it was delivered on Saturday. Set the TV up yesterday and I honestly think the picture is really good on standard freeview/SKY, however watching in HD is even better.

I'm really pleased with this TV, it took hardly no time to do the initial installation. Certainly a great deal and no way is it a 'waste of money' if you get a chance for this price I would buy it. Thanks OP!!

Well, got mine up and running and I'm satisfyingly impressed! Great picture - easy setup - good sound - looks great on the wall - cant find any faults with it (yet lol) ! Definitely well worth the money - and I researched tv's for about a month before buying - always seemed to come back to this one in comparison stakes. (bought on Amazon for 369quid)! I say go for it
