FREE solar garden lamps @ Co-op

Was passing a Co-op earlier today and stopped for some milk. On the way in passed loads of people coming out with boxes of these lamps, asked the girl at the checkout and she said they were just giving them away go and take as many as I wanted Each box has 2 lamps in them.

They also had small barbeques for free too.

They've been told to clear their stock room for incoming Christmas stock this weekend.

Worth checking if you have a Co-op near you.

Which co-op is this please? or is it a nation-wide thing? There is a 'independent' co-op, i.e. not owned by the group, near me, couldn't see anything there.

The one I was passing was in Glasgow.

The checkout girl did say they'd all been told to clear out their stockrooms so assume that mean all the shops.

Could just be a 'right place, right time' sort of thing but just thought I'd let you know
