is it 6 years exactly? to the date? does anyone know?
i have a default (ok a few but one in particular) which is dated 26/08/2004 so will it no longer be on my file tommorrw? or will it be the 27th? or does it take weeks to update?
just curious as i have a few things due to disappear between now and january so it will be good to watch them drop off iykwim

In theory it should come off at say 27/08/2010 at 00:00. But there can be a delay in the credit file been updated. Given a bank holiday weekend, if its not off by wednesday give the credit reference agency a nudge. We do say upto 28 days for an update but it does often happen sooner.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
