It's a grabbit because it's got a game and an extra controller with it.

For the same thing at Argos with no game or additional controller it costs £279.99

PGR3 is £34.99 and an additional controller is £32.99, so it's a good deal. Saves £47.97

yes, but it's more an information post than an offer. I thought grabbit was for short term deals as in the posting guide thread:-

"This board is for short-term, grab it deals only."

    I'm still

Agreed it's in the wrong section, but it's still worth knowing.

Can be picked up from play.com at the above price and also you can get 2% cashback (not the highest cashback but better than nothing)
  • Not a grabbit at all.

This is simply a new standard bundle Microsoft have released. It is a decent offer (PGR is going to be released on platinum next month, making it £19.99 rrp) so effectively they're chucking in a free wireless controller.

One of my brothers is a manager of a Gamestation shop. He told me recently (last week) that it is worth holding off for a little while if you want to buy an XBox.

He said they are expecting the price of the XBox 360 Premium to come down to £229.99 (currently £279.99) sometime in November. This will include an internal change to the chassis to allow for better cooling (he said something about a new, or different fans in the box).

  • Nice one rick, thanks for the info. In future could we just mention to any newbies that they may have posted in the wrong section and they maybe better of posting in another section, rather than jumping down thier throats. The poster had only posted a few times so cant be expected to know all of the rules.
