Looking at the first pic you posted you can see the silver wire used to attach the dragonfly to the pearl band...I think its just a case of getting the broach or dragonfly and attaching it in a similar way to a clip or comb...im guessing because of the weight of the dragonfly and possibly the size you may need a large comb or clip but im sure with a bit of practice its perfectly possible

Just had a quick look on ebay....dragon fly brooch bings up about 20 matches...dragonfly brooch brings up 300+.....lots to choose from some much nicer than others .... searching on butterfly brings up 1000s but there is the odd dragonfly in there too
probably a good place to look would be in vintage clothes shops,or flea markets....sadly these trinkets are becomming harder to find...

Fly, are you having a bird cage veil? Just thinking about the type of dress your having.

Can you show us the type of veil your having and then we can let you know how to put it all together. x

So the dragonfly....is it going on a clip in your hair to sweep some of it up on the side with a comb or have you planned to attach it to the veil?

No problem then....you need to get the dragonfly and it can easily be attached to a comb or clip...the only restriction you may have is the weight of it but this can be overcome by wiring clips together or a bigger clip...
