What is a bargain in Coop Foods?

I'm widowed, on a very tight budget, and normally shop in Asda and Tesco. However, I've just received £48 of vouchers to spend in Coop Supermarkets.
Is there a list somewhere that lists the cheapest things to buy at the Coop, cheaper than at Tesco or Asda? Thank you.

Not sure if there's a list of what's cheaper. In my opinion Co Op are more expensive, here's their current deal though http://www.co-operative.coop/food/deals/Shopping-List/BOGOF-Deals/0

Often Co-op do offers on things like loo rolls, and do weekly bogof offers maybe eek out the vouchers and use them to stock up with the offers, plus if you go 45-30 mins before closing they slash prices, a few weeks ago everything went to 10p, I got 2 chickens, packets of ham, fancy breads all 10pAnyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch

They change their offers every week. Loo rolls seems to be a big favourite. Also they sell very nice fresh chicken which is sometimes half price but usually 3 for a tenner. You would have to check each week to see what is on offer. I think it is pasta and sauce this week, amongst other things.Ellie

The Co-op is a good store to shop in if you're prepared to buy their offers and reduced price goods. They're very expensive otherwise. I'd stagger your vouchers so that you can take advantage of their weekly specials." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Thank you for all the tips. Unfortunately, the vouchers are around the £11-£12 mark, which I think is really excessive for picking up the meagre offers they have.0

But say a big pack of loo roll on bogof might be £6, get 4 and one voucher is gone and it will keep forever., the vouchers are around the £11-£12 mark, .
In other words stock up.
Also, it may be they give change from voucher in the form of a lower denomination voucher? Worth asking if they do this.
Finally perhaps get together with a friend and bulk buy for two of you and obviously friend gives you cash for their share.0 -

If these are the membership vouchers that are sent out twice a year, then you can exchange them for cash at the till provided you also have the corresponding membership card, you don't have to spend them in the store.0

Depends what Co-op they are, mine are East of England and can only be paid into my society share account or spent on goods/services:D"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

I know they all work a bit differently on this, but I get all my meat reduced from the co op, mostly on a Sunday morning. They don't override the 3 for £5 reductions unless they notice and do it manually and usually can't be bothered if tyou have a few other items. So, if the meat is 3 for £5, and is reduced down, you get it for a silly price. I think I could spend £12 on meat if I added on the offers they have as well.0
