I think it would be better to pick your own song. It will be more meaningful and personal to you. If the Vandross song is meaningful to you - go with that.

Much better than relying on random strangers on the internet to suggest you something. This thread will basically become a list of songs people had on their wedding day or which are personal to them.

I obviously will be picking my own song as it's my wedding!! The Vandross one isn't meaningful to us, we just like the song. Hence asking for suggestions with content relating to "coming through things..." etc. It certainly doesn't mean I am relying on strangers for my wedding song. I'm merely asking for suggestions, and obviously if I dont like the suggestions I disregard them. But people are suggesting songs I love that hadnt even entered my head like "footprints in the sand".

And if this thread becomes a list of other people's wedding songs then great, it still gives me (and probably others) inspiration!
