Query re credit report

Made my last DMP payment at the end of May this year and I've just checked my Experian credit report to ensure all accounts are showing as settled and they are. All of them contain the following comments number of status 1-2 00; number of status 3+ 00 - anyone know what these statuses mean?

Having just read through my own experian report I can help.

the code 1-2 means payments 2-3 months late, the zero's after this indicates that you do not have any of these.

code 3+ means payments which are older then the above 2-3 months, again you have zero!

In summary, it looks like you made all of your payments in full and on time.

Thanks - I realised the 00 was a positive I just wondered what that status referred to - great stuff!

    Not quite.

"No of status 1-2" shows how many status 1s and 2s have been reported on the account during the period shown.

In the same way, "no of status 3+" simply shows how my status 3-6s have been reported during the period shown.

A status 1 means the account was one payment behind for that month, 2 = two payments behind and so on.

Ideally you want all zeros which from the sound of it is what you have :)
