When surveyed by Mintel in 2007, the average time men spent grooming per day was ten minutes; a couple of weeks ago a Superdrug survey found that men now take longer than women to get ready for a night out, and spend an average of 23 minutes in the shower, a minute longer than women.
22 minutes is plenty time enough
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

I embrace credit cards too...
A few years ago when i did a loft conversion, i was £xxk short on savings to pay for it. I used 0% balance transfers (before they introduced a transfer charge) and just switched to another till it was all paid off. The fact i had the debt on cards made me driven to pay it off double quick....
Just had £100 M&S vouchers cashback from the card i use to buy most things. I clear it every month and usually claim them back as a nice bonus once per year if i can remember.
As said above, they are a great tool if used correctly.0 -
Guilty as charged !
but seriously....how do you spend 23 minutes in the shower?!!
I do my thinking about the work day ahead in the shower. It's lucky I don't have a felt tip pen in there, else it'd be a mess. It's an indulgence.
Also, my exit usually aligns with some feature on the shower radio.0 -
23 mins in a shower for a man is not hard to work out. We have more five extremities, compared to women's four.
2 mins each per arm. 2 mins each per leg. And 15 minutes for anything left over.0 -
What a waste - you could be benefiting from a months interest free and cash back or bonus points on all your purchases
I don't use either of my credit cards and haven't for years. I take one on holiday with me in case we get stranded or something and that is the only time it gets aired.
The idea that all women are rushing around John Lewis' brandishing their credit cards is a tad out of date.I think....0 -

A months interest free is only of use to you the first month you use it after that you are just playing catch up.
It is a bit like an overdraft.Retail is the only therapy that works0
