I can't find anywhere if it has caller ID, I even looked on Philips site and the model number Dect 4131 draws a blank. Must be pretty old as a few sites are doing it for only a little more.0

I should go to Specsavers lol, thanks, I didn't scroll down enough. I might order one.
Oh, and get 3% back through Quidco
EDIT: I decided not to get one after the comments, even though it is a different model number. I was about to confirm my order but checked back. There's nothing wrong with my Panasonic, I'd have ordered one for no reason really. Thanks to the op anyway

I've got two of the 511 series Philips phone.
Same phone body.
There are a few problems with these:
1 - they're not very loud, even on max volume
2 - battery life is poor. Forget to put it on the base and it will be flat within a few hours.
3 - they're quite hissy
4 - they're just a bit small. An extra inch in length would be useful(as ever!!)

Only I replaced my home phone last month and Argos were selling off the 511 series then so I bought the more up to date one.0 -

Hardly old, as it does SMS and has a colour display.
If I remember correctly this can be combined with up to 8 other GAP capable handsets.
Pity it doesnt have an answering machine built in.ac's lovechild0 -

Quite possibly, but there is a big difference between £40 for 2 handsets and £110
I believe they take 4 handsets, i really must try and find the manual again online
