In Asda the Dettol No Touch Handwash System (thingumybobber!) is on special offer at £5, in the current Asda magazine there is £3 off Dettol No Touch Handwash System = £2 a good saving as it can be nearly £10
I'm not a fan of all things antibacterial & not sure a dispenser like this is a necessity, but if you were thinking of getting 1 this is a good price to try it at.
Does anyone know if it's possible to decant other handwash into the dispenser bottle???

The magazine voucher expired on the 10th August. I work for an agency and did a promotion on this instore, and because the magazine was this months issue people also thought the same, but realised the voucher had expiredThere are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't0

I've tried to get my head round why these hands-free dispensers are necessary:undecided.
Yes, you have to touch a normal dispenser to get the soap out but then you wash your hands anyway so any germs there may have been are washed off.
Am I missing something? Maybe it's a woman thing and I'm just being a thick bloke?:p0 -

And then you touch the tap that you've just put the germs on before you washed your hands. :think:0 -
it was mentioned some people still used the voucher through the self checkout. I have got one, and the easiest way to refill is is cut or drill a hole in the top(or bottom as it turns upside down) of the bottle when its inserted and just pour whatever hand wash you want in it. just pour more in when it goes below the sensor0

I used the voucher yesterday, the checkout lady didn't say anything& on checking my receipt it definitely took the £3 off. I only got it cos it was a bargain & I can be a bit gadgety sometimes. Don't think I'd spend money on another one though.Booo!!!0

I think they are brilliant !
I have one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen.
The one in the bathroom is handy because its now on a soap dish shelf which saves a lumpy gooey mess of soap sitting on the dish and because you dont have to push anything down on it like all traditional hand soaps, there is no pressure being put on the shelf so it wont come off the wall.
The one in the kitchen is also great, I use it after handling food and after coming in from the garden. I can put my tap on with my forearm though before people say about all the germs going on the tap before when you turn it on and off.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. @sarah, I hope you wash your forearm before turning the tap on:p.0

I wash the tap before I turn it on, it's fine turning the tap on with your forearm, but you never know if the person before you washed their forearm before they turned the tap on.
I also flush the toilet by pressing the lever with my foot, suitably shoed. Because very few people wash their hands before flushing the toilet.
As for the toilet roll, you have to pull loads of that off to throw away, because the person before you probably sat on the toilet, put one hand on top of the roll, to stop it spinning, before pulling some off with the other hand. And you never know what people have been doing with their hands while sitting on the toilet.
Although you can have a pretty accurate guess. :eek:0 -

Wow, some of you people are overly paranoid
It's actually unhealthy to be so scared of a little bacteria, give your immune systems a chance to do their jobs.
