  • I also agree with they should match the other supermarkets. I used to shop with Asda and found that the subs where good value. When i shopped with sainsburies i automatically thought that they did the same and give you another product of similiar or better value. I got a substitute list which had 7 items on it and the last one was a leg of lamb i had ordered whilst the joints where half price. My joint i had ordered should of been £4.87 but the substitute was £20.83 some blinkin sub i am annoyed. I showed the driver and he said he wasnt sure what to do just phone them up and when i did the woman on the phone said i should of sent it back and if i take it back to the store they prob wont accept it !!! not impressed

You seem to be saying you ordered something that was on offer [at the time of ordering] but you got charged full price when it was delivered.

You get charged at the price for the item on the day it is picked, not the day it is ordered. So if the item is on offer when you order it, but the offer ends before your order is picked, you get charged the full price.

I work for Sainsburys and it clearly states offers delivery by 10th May. If you get your order delivered by and including 10th May, you will be charged the offer price. If you decided to get your order delivered from 11th May onwards, you will be charged full price or a new offer price. 99% of offers start on Wednesday and last 3-4 weeks. Some of them such as Baileys half price offer last month lasted a week.

For example, one week a bottle of fabric conditioner could be half price at £1.69. Then on the Wednesday, the new offer price is £2.
