    Its usually a regional offer.

Yep. Some regions the offer goes round fairly infrequently some regions have it near constantly. When an offer gets posted the only thing you can do is check your in own region.
One other regional difference I noticed is our region accepts credit cards but the neighbouring region doesn't.

Lidls fruit and veg doesnt always seem to last very wrong, so make sure u check it over first. Sometimes half price doesnt save money unless its going to be used up quick!

I think it depends on the Lidl. The one nearest to me doesn't have long lasting fruit and veg so I don't buy it anymore as it was a waste for just me. It used to go off after a day or two.

Other Lidls are probably fantastic for their fruit/veg.

  • I agree the quality of the fruit and veg it is down to the particular store.
I am lucky to a few near me to choose from.
One has boxes of each fruit/veg four levels high and the fruit and veg has a poor lifespan. In another one I go I heard the manager instructing the staff never to have fruit and veg higher than one box at a time and always check the cucumbers are fresh - This particular store sells out a lot of the fruit and veg by the end of the day but you can guarantee it is fresh daily.

If your Lidl is one that piles boxes high I would avoid it.
