I got an email today saying that I had won the first prize which is a trip for 2 to the Intel IDF Conference in San Francisco from 13th to 15 September 2010.
Unfortunately I can't go due to other commitments
I've left a message asking if I could take one of the 2nd place prizes which is a laptop instead but as the terms and conditions state that the prizes aren't transferable, I'm not too optimistic. I can but ask!

Having looked at the T and C's its entirely possible the "£1000 laptop" would actually exceed the value of the San Fran trip!
