Im revitalised :)

Just wanted to share with people who understand, rather than just an "oh right, ok" and think its odd ;)

To cut a long story short, i was getting a little disheartened by all the money saving and was beginning to slip (you know, buying sandwiches at lunch etc)

But then my Grandma, completely out of the blue, gave me a cheque for £1000. It was a shock, I had to look at it several times because I couldn't believe it.

Anyhow, sadly I put this against the OD of £2400, ie i think my Gran would have prefered I spent it on me, rather than Barclays ;) but hey.

But it was just the kick up the butt I needed, I have now managed to get to payday, £100 under budget. On top of that, through a series of mad sales and clearouts I have managed to rake in another £500 ish pound, just before payday, so soon, for the first time in over 10 years, I will have gotten myself out of my overdraught, that was costing me £30 a month with Barclays BS "Additions" account and such.

Hopefully within the next month, if I carry on as i'm going I should be more or less overdraught free. Yay ! Well, I think I have done well :)

You have spent it on yourself, you have made yourself worth £1000 more (and also the bank woth £1000+interest/fees less.

    Keep up the good work
