Can't watch ITV3 player - advert blocking?

I've never had this problem in the past. I tried watching a programme on ITV3 player - message appeared on screen saying I need to disable advert blocking. I have IE 8 Windows 7 and McAfee security. Can anyone tell me how to disable advert blocking please?

Just tried it myself and got the same.

I do have ad-blocker installed, using firefox.

You can turn if off in the settings in IE, somewhere

Adblocker and Popupblocker are normally two different things. The ITV player works for me with enabled popup blocker and disabled asblocker.

Tried "stv.com" but doesn't offer itv3 player!

The other link seems to offer various suggestion for enabling popup and ad blockers - not disabling - or am I wrong?

There is no ITV3 player, only an ITV player. And who said something about stv.com? Did you click on the link? It offers the same videos, the site just looks different but works.

Yes, but disabling is the opposite of enabling So just do the opposite...

And as I wrote in my last post, the popup blocker has nothing to do with the ad blocker. Maybe your McAfee is blocking something...

Thanks for getting back but what I meant was that the stv link you gave doesn't offer itv3 programmes - or at least not the one I want - whereas the itv player does. In other words the prog I want to watch is on itv3.

Not the best way in this case unless you disable Adblock+ on ITVPlayer as it doesn't work with it enabled.
