I'm staying well away from ordering from George online. I placed an order for 21 items in their last sale. They took the money immediately and I never received my order. It wasn't until I phoned up to ask where it was that they realised there had been a problem and it hadn't been processed correctly. It took several days to get my money back.

I popped onto their website yesterday morning to look at school trousers and the sale had started already, had lots of boys clothes, got lots of marvel tops for £3 each and hats £1 etc. I did pop back on last night to look for my toddler but alot of stuff had gone. I ordered some trousers to use the school wear free delivery code and it worked too.

I've just had another look today and the reductions just keep coming.

I cannot recommend strongly enough the plain coloured vest tops they do, I wear them all the time, they come in loads of colours, are as cheap as chips and they wash like a dream - no twisting of the seams or going baggy. They are far better quality IMHO than the Marks' ones that cost an awful lot more (only the white ones don't seem a good quality for some reason). They have loads in for £1.50 each now. 10% cashback at quidco makes them £1.35 each, and they last forever - bargain! I've just ordered another dozen, they're that good.

I got a parcel of stuff this morning, and would also really recommend the ladies' leaf print cami top.

It's not letting me put the picture in here, think the file is too big, but the jewel peacock colours are stunning in the flesh and it looks like a very expensive top with bead trims - only £5! I've just gone back online and ordered another one, I'm so pleased with it.

Also the black and white cotton geometric print maxi shirt is v good, for £4, and will wash a treat.

It comes with a little tie belt with beads on that you can tie round the waist of one of the aforesaid black vest tops or sew round the v neck as a trim - stylish outfit for £5.50 before cash back. That has to be a bargain in anyone's language, doesnt it?

    HTH somebody.

There's now a code online for Free Del when you spend £25 on anything in George. When I was ordering, I entered the code for free delivery, then changed my mind & decided it was less hassle to collect at store....I expected the code to disappear, but its still taken the £2.95 off the order total!

The code is on the front page of George online & on Quidco (there is also 10% back on Quidco for a limited time!) so in effect 60% off & free delivery! Bargain!

    HTH
