Hi Cady,
I know how you feel, I am the same. But if you have taken on no new debt in two years you are doing really well. Keep up the good work, it will be worth it. :j

Cady, look back at where you were 2 years ago and feel proud of where you are today!
You can do it!0 -
I decided last year that the Christmas present thing was a nightmare as we both have big families and more kids coming along each year on his side of family. So...I texted everyone and said it would be kids only getting Christmas presents from now on. We simply couldnt afford it.Egg April 10 £6600 Jan £4678 now £0

It might be worth posting an updated SOA to see if there is any further savings to be made.
Also it might be possible to get the 2 credit cards onto a 0% card which will make you payments go a lot further.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Hi Cady, yes it's a long road and you can only tread it one step and one day at a time, you just need to keep going that's all. It took me 4 yrs from LBM until my debt free date. The thing that motivated me was watching the figures go down in my MSE signature! I celebrated my DFD by drinking bottle of champagne in the bath by myself. I recommend thinking of a little reward like this just for yourself, as it's such a personal journey that no-one else can really understand and appreciate. As for Xmas pressies, chocs and sweets are always cheap and good. And you'll find that most people have all they need and often don't use Xmas presents anyway and they often give unwanted gifts to charity. Your family and friends will understand if you are passing on buying pressies for a year or two. It's really important for you to honour yourself and put yourself first for once! Good luck x0
