Earning around £1000 a month.. still living with parents.. could easily afford to pay the loan back.. it's the payday loans that got me in this mess and have learnt from my mistakes.. will never get off them again..

sorry but i reckon it is very unlikely you will get a loan from a mainstream lender if you have defaulted on payday loans. You say you earn £1000 and live at home - surely you could therefore pay £500 this month off the payday loan and then the balance next mnonth? will just need to curb the lifestyle/spending for 2 months. Otherwise the charges on the loans will rack up and you will end up in a mess. 2 months of frugal living would be a small price to pay i think.

Less than two weeks ago, you stated you were earning an apprentice wage of £600 per month. Now you say it's £1000 per month. You've got to face up to the truth of your situation and fooling yourself can't be part of that. You have 4 or 5 separate pay-day loans, as well as a loan broker fee to pay. Ten days ago you were opening a separate bank account so that your creditors couldn't drain your current account dry. You're getting into more and more complicated areas of finances and you're too inexperienced to cope. You patently weren't managing on your salary, otherwise you wouldn't have gotten involved with pay-day loans, certainly not four different ones. I think you will have a tough few months - cut your expenditure right down and good luck trying to find a loan but I suspect it's going to be difficult.

I appreciate your honesty.. but i do earn that apprentice wage.. but its complicated because at the minute from my job which is 25 hours a week i earn 600 .. then i earn more on the side working for family so it adds up.. but im also starting a new job in a few weeks that is full time and will be around a grand a month on its own..

I know i have been stupid, and am very inexperienced.. but i just thought a loan that i can pay off in monthly installments to get rid of the stupid payday loans would be the best option.. and hoped some people could give me advice on who to get one off..

I got the co op ( Visa Debit) through the post.. there is no way they can link the banks and take money out of that is there? I havent even used that card yet..

But yeah, do you know of any loan companies that i could at least ask? If not.. anywhere where i can get tempates or you have any ideas what to write in these letters i'll have to send etc... sure you know what i mean.. i dont wanna sound a pain.. and i do appreciate your replies, alot.. whether your harsh or not.. i deserve it for getting these stupid payday loans in the first place.. i am pretty wise, i know that... we all make mistakes. Payday loans will be never again!
  • I want to suggest you for the Pay day loan because they provide you the facility to repay these loan as for the long time or for the short time, I hope this will you .Most important thing that these loans do not check your credit history and provide you fast money within a day.

    Umm, yes, OK.

Payday loans are seldom a good idea, especially in a thread about how to pay off payday loans.
Please note that any posts that I make on here are based on my personal opinion, experience and what I have read.

Its not the PayDay loans that got you in the mess...its you not paying them back that did it.

If you could easily afford to pay back a loan, how are you in such a mess now?

How ever 'loan worthy' you consider yourself to be, i think you will find that not one prime lender would go within a 1000 miles of you.

.......anywhere where i can get tempates or you have any ideas what to write in these letters

The CAB I work at has a booklet we give to people coming to us with debt problems; it does have sample letters which you can adapt and send out. In your case though, the problem is that
pay day loan companies are not the easiest people to deal with
    you're not on benefits
you will have to complete a personal finance statement and you live with your parents, so you don't have all the expenses of independent living

See if your local CAB can help you.

.....I think your best option would be to try the 'bank of mum and dad'.....
