Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.

Why??? Online is soooo much easier.0

Are they stopping the online service then? as skylight says it was so easy to do it that way.0

Well, I can only hope they will be updating the court forms then. They are dreadful, not enough space and badly laid out. The online forms were fantastic in comparison, I was so pleased when I discovered I could do it all online. What a shame. Does anyone know why ?0

Thats not good. The online forms must make everyones job easyer. Not just pre person going BR but the court and the OR. I am half way through filling mine out now and going to court on 6th. Glad I've got in just before this service comes to an end. Sounds like a nightmare filling in without0

I didnt have a problem filling out the forms, My legal adviser went through them with me and we filled them out together.
Why they are stopping online forms seems crazy though

Unfortunatly they dont, or at least not enough, They dont interact well with the IS computer systems and the IS doesent get to see it like you do, that is why you still have to print off 3 copies of them and take them with you to the court. So it really doesnt reduce the work for the OR which was what it was intebded for, also the amount of people that use them is quite small (although a big proportion of the people on here use them) so in an age of cost cuts this is something which is absolutly necessary which costs the IS money to maintain so of it goes.
I have a feeling it will be back one day, probably if the the bankruptcy reform bill gets made into lawHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

You can still download the MS Word versions and type them out and take them with you, you just cant submit them to the Insolvency service directlyHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Thanks debtinfo for putting up this information.
I must admit when me and my DH went BR we attempted to fill in the online forms, but it kept crashing on us  and we hadnt saved frequently either so gave up in the end!
We both filled in the forms by hand, any mistakes were just crossed/tippexed out and it was fine this way. We also wrote extra notes explaining info where we needed to, so overall found doing it by hand the best way for us.0
