Anyone haggled a price for a lovefilm subscription?

It may be my imagination but I reckon their '2 disc at a time' used to be around £8 per month.

I looked at signing up again but noticed it now costs £13 for 2 discs at a time!

They do have a 2 discs a month for £3.99 - not enough for me though, I have 3 at a time.

Yes, prices definitely gone up.

have you looked at Tesco dvd website, they are a bit cheaper than lovefilm (although same company) and offer a "value" option

Id want unlimited discs though which pushes the prices up.

I emailed lovefilm to say I was enjoying the trial but wouldnt continue with it unless they could do me a better deal. Maybe Ill get lucky

and love film while your here perhaps you could explain when your problem with your supplier is going to be sorted out. I have come across quite a few films (eg the soloist) that you cant lend out because of this spat. Its a bit rubbish that I keep having to go to a blockbuster shop to rent films when I have/had unlimited rentals through you!

Lidl are offering free 30 days trial - 3 discs at a time - must remember to cancel before 30 days though!!;)

I've been on the Unlimited, 2 disc at a time plan for many years, since they were called Screen Select and then changed to Lovefilm. It's always been the price stated for that long, never anywhere near £8.
