P/T Job - Slightly Daft Question

Guy's,
This might sound like a daft question and one that may have been answered before but could anyone point me in the right direction on the following:
Speaking to a girl at work today and she told me about a mate of hers that earns a tidy little p/t wage typeing up transcripts of police interviews. she does not work for the police as such but somehow managed to get a little job typeing up these interviews. she mentioned the going rate was around £25 a go. Sometimes the typeing might only take a few minutes others where more in-depth.
Basically - any ideas how to go about getting a job like this? It'd be ideal for me and the OH. Even if we only got one little job like this a week, it'd help towards xmas and car tax/mot/any unexpected bill.
any advice, greatly appreciated.
Regards,
FatJock

Write to your local police station or phone them and tell them about your friend's job and ask if there are any jobs like that going or where you might find one.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

You can do a similar thing by offering to type up essays for students. I know virtually all of them have computers now but I have seen these ads on a notice board.0
