Barclays Bank Success Stories

Hi I have filed a mcol and was 5 days away from applying for a judgement when Barclays acknowleged my claim giving them a further 14 days which will bring things up to 4th Oct 2006.

They have ticked the box stating they are disputing all of claim even though I have already been offered £700 which I turned down as I am seeking £1750.00 after adding 8% interest etc.

Has anyone else had a similar situation with Barclays and did they settle prior to court hearing date being set? Or did they make you wait until this had been set and it was close to the day of court?

Success stories would be welcomed.

They will generally make contact a few days before your hearing and offer to negotiate settlement, this is often without costs or interest initially, however if you stand firm you will receive the full amount claimed
