Have a quick look through this microwave ovens guide for some tips on what to look for - according to that, you would want to buy a combination microwave oven which would offer the functionality of a convection oven (for baking) on top of your microwave needs. You can also do a price check from the same page by clicking the compare prices button, so you'll be able to see what microwave models come within your price range.Shin: a device for finding furniture in the dark.0

There are combination ovens, which consist of a microwave and a grill, which fall within your budget.

Alternatively buy a halogen oven which will roast, fry or boil your food although it won't be as quick as a microwave. £49 including delivery from Amazon.

Try a TJ Hughes store if you have one nearbuy. I got all my electrical kitchen equipment from there when I moved into my new house. My microwave cost £40 from there, but the RRP was £80. Also, I got my toaster for £35 from there, but when I was in Comet last week they were selling it for £65! :eek:A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Started 15/03/2011.
