Didnt know whether to put this here or on the wedding board as its half crafty and have wedding!
I am making the invitations for my mums wedding, on saturday i went to buy the card and got completely confused as to what weight of card i needed - after half hour of feeling all the card they all began to feel the same
What is a typical weight for a card? Dont want it to be too thick, as needs to go through my printer, but dont want it too thin so it looks cheap and floppy!
Please help

Hi Loulou
I'm not sure of the weights of card but when I made mine I bought it from Hobbycraft, the only way I can describe it is of being like thick paper...if you ask at the craft store you use, they should be able to tell you if it would go through a printer.
Best of luck0 -
A received a wedding invite which was Vista Print - I checked their weight and it was 210 I think (best check online to be doubly sure though). And although it stood up on it's own I personally thought it was flimsy.
I bought 300 to see if it would go through my printer and it does fine, but I am going to try a 255 to see if that is good enough because I don't want to hammer my printer too much!I love surprises!0
