- Asda nylon solid spoon misplaced at 2p!!
Went to Asda Dundee to get utensils as moving house and kind of starting again and noticed their homeware dept had 3 for £6 on various utensils. So bought 3 items including the spoon and when I checked my receipt I didn't get the 3 for £6 as the spoon scanned at 2p so got an even better bargain!!
If u buy them separately they are £2.47 each.

Hi, so how much did you pay for the 3 items? Did they have any whisks, those with 2 mixers - my daughter wants to make meringues and I really need one on these and you can never have enough wooden spoons!!
They keep getting lost! :rotfl::beer::beer:ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷0 - Asda nylon solid spoon misplaced at 2p!!

Hi
I did not notice any whisks like you mentioned but do know that Aldi did them for £14.99 last week, they may still have them in stock. For a turner (spatula), a solid spoon and a 'sieved' spoon (one with holes in it) it came to £4.96. Their wooden spoons looked a bit cheap to be honest and not great quality. Hope this helps.0 -

Most supermarkets do their own value ones around the £4 mark.
Also Argos: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4219529/Trail/searchtext%3EHAND+MIXER.htm
I'm guessing the 3 for £6 only applies to utensils.0 -
Hi, yes the 3 for £6 only applied to selected utensils.0

I'd rather spend the extra 3p and get a runcible spoon.

If you buy the spoon seperately they're £2.47? So are they only 2p when you buy them with two other items?
The spoon was mispriced, it shouldn't have been 2p no matter what u bought. On the shelf it was labelled as £2.47 each or part of a promo of 3 for £6 with other selected utensils.0 -

Thank you, I meant the ones you have to turn by hand, not electric. Although they are really really cheap!!
Basically I have a recipe to make some macaroons, but when you have to buy everything ( I dont usually bake! I cook tho) it becomes so expensive!! Its gonna cost me at least £12! but I will have loads of caster sugar, pink colouring, dried egg whites etc etc - usually thrown away 2 years later!
I am doing the baking with my youngest so it will be fun and worth it!
ThanksACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷0
