SCAM - PLEASE STAY WELL CLEAR
I was contacted by these crooks on Mon 25.04.11 around 1.30pm after applying for a loan to start planning for our wedding by 3pm I was I was £200 worse off!!!
These guys come on being really nice and well mannered but please do not fall into their trap. They claim there are no charges for their loans yet that's not the case. I was told I had been accepted for my loan etc and I had a few questions regarding it ... one being an interest rate of 8.1% which I knew was far too good to be true. Never once did I say I wanted to go ahead with the loan but it was far too late. My cash was gone. BEWARE as they had my bank details and asked my to confirm them, that's when they go in for the kill.
I'm now in the process of dealings with Citizens Advice & about to email OFT as this NIZ are currently in the process of being closed down!

jesus...STOP GIVING THIEVES YOUR CARD NUMBERS....WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO GET YOU PEOPLE TO LEARN...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Its all to easy to blame poor joe public into being fools and to stop giving out card or bank details.
The con man has been around for a very long time and once or twice in our life we will be scammed by a con.
Its all too easliy done and I speak from experiance as I for one am one of the "fools" as you emply who did fall foul to this con.
Just the same way an old lady may invite a couple of people into her house thinking they are there to read her meter.
These things happen and we should be more worried and concerned that they keep happening. After all this is not the first time NIZ has done this. The good old OFT did issue them with another CCL after they were caught the first time.
This is why they received a Super Complaint from CAB.
Those that have been caught have learned a lesson as I know I have. But unfortunately we are not the first and most definately will not be the last.0 -
Good news Today.
Niz Financial are no longer trading.
Bad news though no one will be brought to justice and you'll probably have to hope and pray you can get your money back viaa the charge back with your bank. As all the money went to a foriegn bank though I think it will be a struggle.
Does crime pay.....yes
Will they start up again.......nothing to stop them
So all please be aware0 -
Hi,
I would like to post a forum for anyone who has dealing with Niz finance, to be very careful. They are a scamming company
When you ask for a loan they say you will get a guaranteed approved loan but then ask for admin fee upfront of £250. Once this fee has been taken they will not get back to you. When you try to cancel the subscriptions before the 14 days period, they ask for a letter but once you do sned the letter they do not reply back and when you try to call them the person on the phone is rude and will always try to make up excuses, like system down or the money will be back in your account in 30 days but it never does.
So basically its a scam.
NIZ FINANCE DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM

When I go into KFC, I walk up to the counter and ask for some chicken.
If the guy said to me, "give me all your chicken and I will give you some of my chicken", I would think !!!!!!?? and walk out the door. Something is definitely not right with this guy asking me for chicken, he KNOWS I haven't got any chicken or I wouldn't be in there asking HIM for chicken.0 -
Hi, I'm new to this but I think I may have been conned. I have been looking for a loan and searched through a link from the web. I received a call from NIZ Financial. As soon as they mentioned that I had to pay a fee of £150 i refused. He was very persistent and admittedly had caught me unaware. He reduced the cost to £99.99 and the rate I got was very good particularly as even though I have a very good credit rating I've been unsuccessful on my last couple of applications.
Anyway, after giving my card details and thinking id got a good deal I viewed their reviews online and was pretty horrified. Out of 10,000 applications apparently only 71 go through. I queried them on this and they assured me that it is from people who hadnt been completely honest in their applications. I cannot believe that as the questions were pretty basic.
Next week, they have asked me to send my bank statements and utility bills and my loan will be processed. My bank couldnt stop the payment going through so i've lost the £99.99 no matter what.
Has anyone heard of these guys or had any experiences with them as im not sure what to do now quite frankly. To take a chance or not.
Any advice would be extremely appreciated x
have had the same problem so i decided to make a complaint to the financial ombudsman they looked into it for me and i had a letter from them telling me that i was indeed entitled to my money back plus some extra for stress
the problem is that they have been ignored by niz financial themselves and they have just told me that niz have been made bankrupt they have contacted the receivers on my behalf but dont hold out any hope of getting any money back0 -
i have had the financial ombudsman to look into the £99.99 upfront fee i paid with no luck, they said that i am entitled to my money back and they would try and retrieve it for me plus some extra for the stress.
i have now received a letter from the ombudsman stating that niz financial have gone bankrupt and they have passed my details onto the receivers but i can't see how i could ever get my money back from that company.
if for some reason i do receive any refund i shall post it on this forum0
