Orange Account

I wonder if anyone can shed any light on a query for me.
I have informed orange of my bankrupcty and have received the following from them.
Thank you for your letter dated -10 July 2010 I apologise, for the delay in responding.
I am sorry that you were not advised of your account status when you advised of your recent difficulties. Investigation into this matter confirms the following.
The above account was disconnected on 30 July 2010 without penalty charges. The outstanding balance has been "written off' by our Debt Recovery Department. This means that the balance remains outstanding, however Orange will not pursue the Debt. This will remain on your Credit File until the balance is cleared, when it will be marked as settled. It is possible for you to pay this amount at a later date and your Credit File will be amended as such.
I trust the above is satisfactory.
Does this mean that when I am discharged they will then expect me to pay??? I am a bit confused.
Thanks

Do not worry. This is a standard letter. It is just legal jargon on their part. You will not have to pay!
