Hi (sorry if im posting in the wrong board)
Now ill be honest, I work for a company that has just launched the first 100% Fairtrade streetwear clothing brand.
Totally organic clothing and ALL profits from website sales go to support an orphange in India.
THe clothes are great (I know I would say that!), but the fit is great and obviously its 100% fairtrade so NOBODY is short changed in the manufacturing of the products, and even the print on the T's is organic.

Hello Dave

Out of interest, is it just the cotton that needs to be 'fairtrade', or does the factory you work with have to meet certain standards?

I think it depends, the cotton can be fairtrade depending on how its manufactured, and I think a requirement through Fairtrade is that the factory have fairtrade accreditation, I can speak on our behalf that EVRYTHING is Fairtrade, the cotton, the factories, the print uses fully organic materials, i.e. there is no harmful chemicals to staff or environment.
A lot of Fairtrade clothing products only have a percentage that judges it to be Fairtrade (of which is genuinely Fairtrade) but ours is 100% in every process, and as far as I am aware we are the first streetwear clothing brand to be classed as this.

Cool. I import garments from Bangladesh and China, but real cheap stuff and unfortunately to stay in business we have to push factories for cheaper and cheaper prices or we'd just lose our customers.

I've had a look at your site and the range looks good, and fairer trade is certainly the way forward in my opinion, so good luck with it.
