I just phoned to cancel my account and was offered 3 months for the price of 1 on the £12.99 2 disc plan, which I accepted

Just had an email from lovefilm offering the same deal which is good. I am just finishing a 3 for 1 with Screenselect so will have got 6 months rental of two discs at a time for 24 quid - not bad!

I got the email also but my account is not closed only frozen - did you have to cancel and then reapply to take advantage of the offer?

I did the free trial a few months ago, and received this offer by eMail.

You can do it with any of the packages, so for £9.99 you could have the 1 disc package for 3 months.

I am on a 3 month free trial. Much cheaper and it also gave £7.50 quidco!

I closed the Lovefilm account months ago so i'll see what happens when i try their new deal. But at the end of the day they are emailing me to take up the offer. Screenselect finishes at beginning of Oct so will cancel and take out Lovefilm. Not sure if it will work going through quidco but will give it a try

I have just signed back up using the offer in the email I had ~

3 months for price of 1 offer

£12.99 for 2 discs at a time up until 23rd December , might not be the fastest on disc turnaround but it would cost me that for 3 rentals at a Blockbuster store plus I don't have to put up with lunatic children running around while I'm trying to choose a film :beer:

I recently cancel as my 3 months was up. Dont like having to phone them up to cancel, was able to this via their web previously. Turnaround for this offer is so long, too frustrating for me, they offered me another 3 for 1 monh offer, I declined.

Im with Tesco 2months free now and they are so much better even though there are via Video Island/Lovefilm?

As I've also just posted on the freebies site, they won't actually charge you until your 3 months are up so as long as you cancel in time you can actually have the three months for free!
