thinking of going with payplan

i have recieved 2 default notices from different credit card companies i have 5 credit cards in total i have brought the 2 default acc up to date and i am thinking of payplan with regard to a dmp would the credit card companies that have issued a default notice take me to court while everything is being set up with payplan this is a worry to me and advice would be appreciated thanks

    we were with payplan a while back and they were fantastic, it's all sorted out now and I can't recommend them highly enough!!
    Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    DMPs are informal. So a creditor may or may not go for a CCJ, before, during DMP setup or during the DMP itself. A DMP will not protect you, it just informal payments although when managed by the right people you are seen to have taken professional advice to deal with your debts. It puts you in good stead, and a judge "may" even side with you if they go for a CCJ. Even if they do go for a CCJ it would only be for the monthly amount you pay into a DMP anyway.

    If you have debt problems, you do need advice from the right people. PayPlan is one of them but is actually a business not a charity. Other organisations to seek advice from are here - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2077631
