I want to get clean

I'm finally on an even track when it comes to my debt compared to some my debt is nothing and I know I can pay it off if I stick to my plan.
But what I want help on is getting my credit record clean we want to move house in a few years once the debt is all paid off but right now. My credit rating is awful.
OH is ok but not great.
Is there anyway in getting my creditscore/rating better without taking on more credit??
I havent a clue how it all works?
E.g have a £100 overdraft is it wise to get this off my account?
Thanks

Have you got a copy of your credit report
You can send away for it for £2 or you can sign up for a 30 day free trial
Make sure that you know everything on there
Close any accounts that you no longer use
Other than that, keep yourself clean from now on and that will put any problems back in time0 -
