About 16 yrs ago, following a very nasty divorce and other traumas I started a DMP with the help of the CAB.
After about 6 years most of my creditors wrote to the CAB and wrote off the remainder of the debt. Some of them were very kind about what they said about how I had kept to the plan. A couple even said I could use the letter as evidence to send to other creditors to negotiate the same deal.
However, I did pay them all off and then my life took a downward swing again:eek: and here I am again.0
